Forbidden Planet - oops!

Post by Shaunyboy »

I may have to do a complete 180 degree flip on my view of the 25th GI Joe stuff. Just like Annie did on the Tiger Force line!

I went into London today today to size up a theatre job and it was just down the road from Forbidden Planet. I was an hour early for the call time so I went in just for a 'look'.
Well, shave me down and call me Susan! I absolutely love the 25th Firefly they had on the shelf! Have you seen the accessories this guy comes with? Freakin' awesome!

I had no idea he came so well tooled up! It was £15 (I think) for the figure and I'm on a complete spending ban at the moment so I put him back

I've been a huge protester against this 25th anniversary malarky until now, but I can honestly say they got this one spot on!

He looks good, but has two backpacks. How can he use them both?
My :firefly: is very similar (mainly 'cause he is also a 25th Ann one):

I also gave him :storm: 's uzi (what would do :storm: with an uzi?)
Seemingly yours is the "complete" :firefly: , since includes both the accessories of the one I own (sans the flak vest) and those of this one:

That would explain why he has more accessories than hands ;-)

I will have a spare ARAH Dodger soon Ross one of his lower legs is held on by blu-tack but you may be able to fix it.

Closest they had in Forbidden plant was the ARAH sculpt of Beach head. You know, the one that says GI JOE down his leg. It was £6.

I'm yet to find anywhere that stocks vintage GI Joe or Action Force in London. If anyone does know somewhere let us all know!

the only part of dodger i'd use is his lower legs, he's such a weird looking figure!
