To me that is one of the least impressive pictures. That has got nothing to do with collecting, it is bulk buying. A total of 240 figures, that makes 40 6-packs of Cobra Infantry forces = $800. They were around $20 at time of release.

Eddie's Cobra collection impresses me way more, because that took effort to compile.
thanks jaye i had my first straight arm cobra trooper yesterday chuffed with that one, i can't deny that the picture does look fab however i did watch a youtube film the other day a serious collector made of his one thousand original cobra trooper army. it was out of this world.
CIA got you pushing to many pencils.

dj soundwave is the name he uses most often, I believe he has substantial collections in quite a few areas. Good bloke from what I've seen, not the most prolific poster

They look like these...

TY Beanie Baby Display Case

...but I think they're a little bigger and for the amount he has there must be a cheaper way to buy them.

It's like that scene in V where they find millions of humans frozen in the ship.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

One damn minute, Admiral

Anyone with the money can army build using new figures...it takes time & dedication to truly build a good collection of older figures & vehicles.
In one case, it took many years of attending toy fairs & boot sales to complete my :storm:...mind you this was years before Fee-Bay was even invented.
The internet has made collecting a lot easier, if more expensive, hobby than it used to be when I 1st started

They look a lot like them Pro-tech cases to me, I keep my 6" figures in Beanie baby cases...

It reminded me more to the Simpson's Treehouse of Horror segment with Bart as Stretch Dude and Lisa as Clobber Girl, where the Collector (Comic Book Guy) had many celebrities in mylar bags.
