You're not getting sick of all those people telling you time after time: "One day,... blahblahblah"

We don't have kids on the agenda either. We are jsut too busy being juveline ourselves! Why is it that having kids is something 'natural', but when you don't want kids you have to defend yourself time after time? At this moment when people are asking the same question for the 100th time, we just respond something silly: "We only have oral sex.", "You'll get the child you were yourself and that scares the hell out of me." or "I don't want to become a grumpy complaining c*nt like you."

They say kids keep the mind young, but why does every parent behave so bloody old for his/her age? And why do they complain so much to us people without kids? Is is because we still have the freedom to do what we want and they don't?
Jaye, i couldn't agree more.

Oh all right, Sir Reginald ;) Bouncy, bouncy.....

Kids are OK, my Wife thinks if anything, I've reverted to an early childhood state. 1985 to be exact, with a hint of 1977. She's right tho. I love getting on the floor and into the Lego etc. Seriously tho, how do you top that? Breast implants?

I also get to corrupt them, my 9yo daughter appreciates Monty Python and totally gets Syd Barrett's early Pink Floyd. She also collects Littlest Pet Shops (no bloody my little ponies here). My son know the words to the GI joe theme and hangs to watch Star Wars, but I cannot get them into either Dukes of Hazzard OR Buck Rogers. Even Star Trek is proving tough.

End of the day you either do or you don't. And neither is better than the other. Although the trying is Grrrrreeeat.

there's nowt so queer as folk.

if i have kids i intend to start them reading with Thomas the Tank Engine and then move on to Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic 4 and then The Ultimates.

they will also be indoctrinated from an early age with TOS, Doctor Who and Buffy after the age of ten.

Angel, TNG, DS9 and Alias will follow in the teen years.

they'll also be taught FPS fragging on UT2004 and CoD1 at an early age.

And teach them REAL Avengers rather than the Ultimates junk.

To true, Bill. The buggers will thwart you at any turn if you let them. I found the best way is to forbid them from watching. That way its a certainty they will.

Asterix, yes. My kids have already been introduced via books and movies, by Toutatis.

Ben 10, pffft.
