It might be cool to put the word "ACTIVATE" somewhere in the title. I can't really explain why it's cool just yet, because I'm still not quite ready to formally announce the 21st Century Mini-Comics project, but trust me, the word will be quite relevant ;-) . It's tricky, I know you can't just take my word for it without any supporting evidence...

Good work, Trans and Dave! Woah..., Chas and Dave flashback....

Regarding the 21st Century Mini-Comics, my artist pal has a commission at the moment but he's hoping to continue :af: next week. Fingers crossed! He's a great artist, I think.

Just a bump on this one, am still to hear any ideas of what people would be keen to see/ do.

Have shortlisted some things, which I'll post later, but would be interested in hearing from anyone if they have some (realistic) ideas.

how about an action force quiz? have two teams of forum members maybe, winning team gets an exclusive prize of some description, a bit of light hearted family fun.

I think catering to small kids is something to look at, maybe a goodie bag given out on the door. We could put the replica Ironblood mask in there, along with some sort of document or convention magazine. Something which quickly and neatly summarises the history of the range (without all the politics) with nice big pictures and possibly a BAF Colouring Project reprint?

The convention has to cover all aspects of Action Force, from Action Man to GI Joe and back.

Yeah, maybe something like a set of postcards or little toys (not from the range, I'm thinking foam bullet guns, pencil tops, tat sort of thing)?

A convention figure would be separate and only available to buy on the day.

well the sort of gift bags we had as kids would be ideal, some sweets something to colour in a toy and a comic perhaps as you say, it certainly would give a great impression for the show.
