More 40th stuff,

Post by Thundershot »

Said I wouldn't buy any more..but I kept going back to the Modellers Loft stall to take "one last look" & ended coming home with this:

Oh well..it may of been my last chance, as the range has been discontinued & stocks getting low...if I keep telling myself this, maybe I won't feel so bad about "splashing the cash" :.

Don't know why I feel a little guilty about spending money on toys, it's like a part of me thinks "For heavens sake man, you're 35 & sould have grown up by now!"

quoting a Furmanism... it never ends (in this case, "it" is toy collecting)

There you go, more proof that Action Man is the greatest toy there is. He looks pretty cool.

Where was the Modellors Loft stall? I know their shop but I've never seen a stall at any fair before?

Hi, ODB
They've got a big stall @ the War & Peace show this year, thats where this pair came from..I've also seen them @ the large toy fairs & Memarobillia shows @ the N.E.C.
I've only been to the shop once myself, but it's gotta be the best toy shop I've ever been to in my life!

I forgot about the War and Peace show, especially  as its about 30 minutes away. I love their shop its one of the best for miles round here and a real hark back to the days before Ebay, I think its one of the last big ones in the south east too. I have spent waay too long just looking at stuff in there.

It's like living next to the best museum in the world, and it's the only place I know that still sells carded Action Force figures such as Ironbloods and the Red Shadows.

how much are the carded figs??

Got some more 40th AM for my birthday. Got the mountie set with free dog  and the Spec ops kit bag and Bazooka  Just like being a kid again! And I am building up to open them too!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
