Action Force Figure Focus:- Orange Frogman

Carrying on from Pauls brilliant thread and idea re the Ground Assualt,(viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5169) and the little and large threads, I thought I would bring to you similar for the Orange Frogman.

So at the weekend I got the lads together for a group photo. We have:

Vintage Action Man
MOC Series 1 Frogman (yellow zipper version)
Series 1 Frogman (yellow zipper version)
Series 1 Frogman (non zipper variant)

No prototype goodness with this one I'm afraid, but I have to say - one of my favourite figures, both as a kid and now! It also strikes me as one of the closest matches between the 12 inch version and the series 1 version - even down to the divers watch.










With many thanks to Paul for (a) a great idea, (b) help with the Frogmans jacket (from the 40th collection after the vintage one set hard) and (c) the bearded chap inside!

I always loved the Frogman - largely because I lived near a reservoir, so he got some proper underwater action! SAS was cooler though, I know. That's next on the Agenda!

The actual AM in there is 40th - I have the proper VAM but he is dressed in the SAS outfit at the moment. The Frogman here is only 40th for the jacket, which had perished beyond repair. The rest of it (accessories, trousers etc) are the VAM originals.

Cracking Steve! I was going to do the SAS PAra Attack over the weekend. But I just couldn't get the AM one out of the box (probably need some more words of encouragement from Paul!)

Awww - Para Attack would be cool!!! As long as you are ever-so-careful-as-you-gently-remove-it (to be read very slowly!)

Yeah I got the 40th one a few months back I opened the box looked in it took the helmet out and photographed it then put it away!
