some plot/character advice for my dio......

i've been kicking around ideas for a new fan-fic with the Joes and AF coexisting, and Big Ben will be as will the two guys who were in the story with Jaye, Flint and Destro.

Seems silly NOT to use AF SAS.

i WANT to have AF SAS in it, that the point! im dropping big ben. was hoping more of the AF purists would give me some opinions..........
these guys are basically retired/disbanded & will be reforming for a 1 off special mission. ive managed to put together 4 so far, im trying to make them look older, so dont expect these guys to look the same as before + they wont be in standard uniform but will be obvious who they are meant to be as a group.
if i remember correctly, although nothing to do with each other, wasnt stalker meant to be a bit of a quiet loner, similar to snake eyes?

ok, so chopper (original figure) is flying the chopper, then eagle, beaver, quick fire, stalker & stake out make up the squad? i just need one more slaughters marauders low light for body parts........
like i warned you before, this is these guys 20 years later, hand picked by flint to secure the safety of someone.

I personally prefer Chopper to Blades but it would be nice to see the full team reunited ?

So this will be set as a "present" day story, & not going "back in time" then?
How about a team of "young blood" s.a.s. who bite off more than they can chew,when they run into a Neo-Nazi type group of old (& newly recruited) hiding in a small country,getting into trouble & & the old guys are called out of retirement to rescue them & avoid the U.K goverment embharasment?

"borrowing" an idea from my fave' episode of the "The New Avengers", the group could have the body of the ( or they belive it to be) held in suspended animation, awaiting to be revived & unleash a new wave of terror on the world.

was thinking about something kinda similar that is shadow related for the future.
yeah, this one will be present time, andy eagle will be unmasked, & im sorry to say it but i figure they wouldnt all be still alive.......
i have eagle, stalker, beaver & stake out pretty much finished, there is a story behind blades, hunter & sparrow hawk being missing, barracuda might be in this...... if i get more parts i might include quickfire.

I always liked the movie Uncommon Valor (1983) starring Gene Hackman. He's an old soldier who has long suspected that his son is still alive after years as a POW in Vietnam, so he gets together a bunch of other retired old vets to go on a rescue mission. Fred Ward from Tremors is in it.
If I watched it now it would probably turn out to be a pile of horse sh*t, but I liked it when I was younger.
If you've never seen it Ross, check it out. Might give you some ideas on how to treat the vets characters.
