Stormie & Muton go to Cornwall

Post by SteveD »

When the pressure of being a silent Ninja and his comedic sidekick/indestructible robot get too much there is only one place for the guys to go to chill out, relax a little, and recharge their batteries - CORNWALL! So the lads set off for a week of surfing and cider....

Stormie takes in a bit of culture at the Minack open air theatre watching Evita:-

:storm: "I left the Muton at home - he never settles and eats noisy crisps during the performance - he's sooooo uncultured"

The following day:-

Image

:muton: "Trouble at Mill!!!"

:storm: "Trouble at Mill????"

:muton: "Aye, trouble at Mill - beams cum outta skew ont Treddle"

:storm: "What on earth are you blathering on about Muton - that's not a Mill, it's an abandoned Tin Mine you fool!!!"

:muton: "Oh......."

Image

Having established that it is indeed an old abandoned tin mine the lads chill out after taking Bullet for a good walk:

Bored of chilling out, the chaps head to the beach. Being a bit bone idle, and not wanting to walk, Muton sneaks into SteveD's other half's beach bag, and conceals himself in a large coil of something plasticy:

However once at the beach, he finds himself a bit wrapped up and tangled in the plasticy stuff of unknown origin:

Luckily, Stormie is on hand to help out and point out to him what it is:-

:storm: "Yes, for I am ever knowledgeable - it is a kite tail!! Enjoy your flight old chum!"

:storm: "He he!!!"

THE END.

(and yes, he is really attached to the tail of it whilst it is up there. And yes, I meant to crash it at the end. Honest. I did.)

There's a bald man sat there, enjoying Evita, worrything that the strange Northerner behind him is going to start throwing little plastic men at the performers...

I'll give you the grid ref, you might like to go

Of course! Here he is safely back on his window sill at home just this morning....

Image

If anything the sand cleaned him up a little by sandblasting off some of the soot from the fireworks last year!

And Baron, it was a carefully controlled descent, not a [tut tut] "crash landing".

I'm sorry to report, however, that later on that same day I allowed the Intended to have a brief go of my 25 year old Peter Powell stunt kite in somewhat heavy winds. The tail is still stuck in the tree in a field near Truro. She is very sorry.

Was the dog accompanying Stormie and Muton from the beginning, or he followed them home?
