Worst Action figures on the planet

Post by Shaunyboy »

On occasion I buy job lots of figures off eBay or a bag of figures from car boots. Anything that appears to be a 3 3/4" figure gets a look in from me. I sometimes get a nice surprise in the form of an Action Force figure, but they are mostly crap. There are some really rubbish designs out there and I wondered what's the most naff figure of all?

I nominate this guy.

I hate everything about him. The design, the colour scheme the head gear...!? I don't know who he is or what the f*ck he is supposed to be. it says Lanard on his leg. That must be a code word for dog sh*t in this case.

Anybody else like to suggest some real stinkers?

Is he a Gladiators figure? Don;t know if they exist, just the headgear reminds me of the show.

Paint him red!

The manufacturing of it is pants too! You can still see big seams where his head has come out of the mould (not the first "coming out" for that figure looking at that outfit either).

We had a similar thread to this a while ago, and I seem to recall Lady Jaye won hands down with the soldier/worm combination figure whose name currently escapes me. Although having seen the other posts I'd like to nominate Cross Dressing Destro here:-

I'm going to buy one and paint his dress up with flowers.

golobulus is pants - he might have been slightly better if the "tail" was articulated, kind of like a gorrila-pod camera tripod

I'll take a photo of the mystery sh*t figure that lives in our fruitbowl - really crap, not articulated and looks like it's been painted by a five-year-old on a sugar-high

really don't know what to make of this one;

I once subjected myself to GI Joe the movie. What a shambles. It was OK until the Cobra La turned up and Cobra Commander turned out to be a part man part snake beast thing. In fact he ended the movie as a complete snake if I remember correctly?
The only thing I can think to say as a positive about Golobulus was that in the movie he was voiced by Burgess Meredith, and he trained Rocky so he must be good!
