An absolutely marvellous Airtight custom!!!!

Post by Malcolm Orr »

Yeah, I wanted to see it too.

Boiled my Desert Flamethrower in yellow ritde for 20 mins. The bugger turned orange, not yellow, and when I put the little bast*rd together his f***ing thighs had warped.

B*stard!

As they say in Australia, sh*t happens. Fire up the BBQ and rip a tinny out of the fridge and all will be good.

I'd like to see Airtight too, he's a great figure.

thats a shame ... did you keep the thigh parts together whilst boiling ?

I had a similar problem with a torso, I know now that I should have kept the halves loosly screwed together. better luck next time ?

LOL - I wasn't too bothered in the end, but I'm not venturing down the ritdye path again...

However I've done a heavily sculpted custom that is far more in my comfort zone - a Red Shadow scientist, though nothing like any Joe/AF figure or custom anyone has ever seen!!!
