Out of interest, here's hoping the new Playmates Terminator line has the skeleton robot - I'd paint one white with a cream wash!!!

The custom idea sounds great too.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

there are some great looking terminator toys coming out.
there are a couple of different scales but there is a 3 3/4 series.
i've seen pics of the resistence figs and the cyborg figs look perfect for skeletron customs.
they are a bit pricey tho.

(That price os for 12 figures by the way - they'll be £7-8 each individually over here. Personally I'll be getting Uhura from their Trek range. Oh yeah!)

pretty steep.

anyone seen the A-10 Warthog they are releasing for it? Ideal custom partner for a Rattler.

It was a featured in an ad in Toy News for the new toy line, I'll try get a scan if no-one has seen it.
