figure stands
figure stands
Hi Guys, need some advice,
I've got loads of figure stands for my classic joes (from SmallJoes.com), but does anyone know where to buy stands for the classic AF figures with their smaller footholes ( I presume they are the same standard as the current Indiana line/ 25th Joe line)?
(I know the store is due some here, but anywhere else too?)
cheers for any tips!

Re: figure stands
VSC sells them. There is a link somewhere on the site that the Baron put up a wee while ago. If I can find it before the gaffer I'll stick it up here.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Re: figure stands
thanks for that Paul,
I'm gonna compare those prices with some from Ebay too, now that I know the size, but am bit confused....
the modern SW fig stands fit old AF, but
the AF cardboard HQ came with small round stands , and I thought these were poached from the classic Star Wars line (bigger holes).

Re: figure stands
It's all to do with the peg size. The original AF stands had a tendancy to burst the heel of vintage AF, but these one do the job just fine.

And here's the actual link: http://www.vintagestarwarscollectables. ... force.html

Seller is a thoroughly recommended good egg, and has now become an AF fan! He is registered here as v.s.c. The stands are a perfect fit, matching the
APC and
Jeep pegs for size.
I've bought hundreds! viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3745
I've found that the Weapons Pack stands are a good fit for the jointed figs, I'm not sure if they are the same as the cardboard base stands, but if they are there's no way would I use them on my straight-limbed figures.
