80's telly programme

Post by paul463 »

Guy's and gals,

this is a long shot, but can anyone remember the name of a programme about a Paramedic crew in LA. It was on in the early 80's might even have been the late late 70's. The paramedic unit was called Emergency 51. I remember this being my all time fav as a kid.

Been having an 80's nostalgia afternoon, having just bought the CHiP's Series 1 DVD.

Edit just found it on YouTube!!!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Only a matter of time before the action figures follow my friend! Ponch & Jon have pride of place on the windowsill at the moment, having seemingly teamed up with Rosco and Boss to arrest the Dukes! :-)

Yup it was, Play have the box sets for Region 1 players would need to get a new DVD player or will the PS3 play multi region (he says trying to find the manual!!)

There was another one too which I vaguely remeber it was American and the small towns fire and ambulance was run by volunteers, I remember watching it when I was off school with Scarlet Fever. But I can't remember another thing about it.

Brilliant Sundance..thank's I've just looked it on tv ark, it was indeed Spearhead! it's been buggin me for ages.. :-D

Don't know why but air planes off the telly, always stick in my mind from childhood? "Sally B" from We'll meet agian was also a big fave'..& that drama set after the second world war, about a demobed pilot, played by Roy Marsden, who was starting up a air freight business with 2 Dakota's, now what was that one called?

All the good shows aren't available. Tales of the golden Monkey, Logans Run, When things were Rotten, Chelmsford 123. Its diabolical I tell ya.
