Well, yes... That'll be because he'd gone, I expect.
Now that's tickled me!!

And Dave - your photos are masquerading as shamless plugs for your quality merchandise! Although how I wish I'd picked up some more of those Marvel V Technics shirts now! Although the SAS one was looking resplendant upon wearing last night!

Now, I'm going to have to take issue with that! Dave's comments are rarely thoughtful!!!! I must have missed that one post Dave? ;-)

Twas good for some of us to meet. Even if Dave's directions to his stall were a little cryptic at first!

And the pictures are ace - if you stroll down quickly, they work like a flickbook that you used to draw when you were a kid! In defence of the photographer - iPhone cameras are pretty sketchy. And in defence of the short arses amongst us, I think Paul had high heels on - I distinctly remember him saying something about how he found them more comfortable than normal shoes? :-P

I managed to escape with very little in the way of new toys, largely due to Eddie getting there before me, but can heartily recommend the SAS t shirts! The intended Mrs D managed to spend all of my "Memorabilia Fund" on 80's rock memorabilia though.

A good day was had by all though, and look forward to doing it again!

you asked where I was, I said on my stand, you said where's that, I said in the hall. How specific do you need me to be?

Bearing in mind I had never clapped eyes on you, a tad more sprecific than that!

Something along the lines of "I'm the red faced one, surrounded by a mocking crowd, as I rummage for Pony's" would have brought me straight to you?

Feel free to now crack some caravan show gags at my expense?

Yes Dave, sorry.

When we met up, I'd already dragged my better half around the place once and she was a little knackered [she's pregnant, so gotta be a bit careful not to overdo it...].

Dave, it was great meeting you and Ed, Annie and Mr and Mrs SteveD.

I would have loved to talk for ages as there are SO many questions that I'm dying to ask, but time was limited unfortunately.

I'll stick some in a message to you later this evening. And many thanks for letting me see some of your more rarer items on the stall... very interesting indeed!

The wife quite enjoyed herself, so hopefully we'll come to the next one in November. Hopefully have more time to talk then.

Is there anything similiar occuring nearer to Cardiff that you're attanding in the future at all?

Ha!! Steve, as above, it would have been nice to stick around and have 'a proper chat' as we talk a lot over the private messages here, sadly my time was up. Hopefully next time....

Hey no worries Paul, are you in Cardiff then?

I'm in Bristol in May for the comic fair and defo in Cardiff in December for the annual Star Wars show, but on a fairly ad-hoc basis I'm in Newport too as and when they do small shows every few months :-)

Dave.
