Well I havent read all the stories yet but I have read alot of them so for me right now I would say when they attack the comic book printing shop and I hate the Kraken. Everything was so good until that stupid thing came up. I do my best to just forget that story and dont even ackowledge it

You said it his Nibs his mauveness... the Kraken is but an avatar... those who loathe him should merely impale themselves on their own flexi-arms. As if the GI Joe universe had no room for the mad-evil genius who produced :muton: :skeletron: :kraken: in ascending order of perfectivo :baron2: madness!

Why did they never do a Hoxworth Whipple/Surfer story?then there was the last days of BAF when other than Deep Cover the stories really tailed off.And i don't think any of the Marvel stories ever reached the epic quality of Bloodhound or Desert Strike,or the depth of characters that Stakeout or Quickfire had.Does Marvels AF really compare to the originals?

i'm nominating the discovery of the dead Shadows in 'Codename: The Kraken'. someone clearly didn't know that a dead body in the Arctic wouldn't decompose to leave a skeleton behind. it'd just be frozen solid. duh.

It's fiction for kids, what young lads are looking for is skeletons and decomposing bodies not scientific accuracy!!!!!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Hah! We could have a whole separate thread (poll?) devoted to Totally Unrealistic Events We Still Loved. The SAS parachuting from a space station springs to mind.

Most dreadful moment has to be the printing works invasion.

As a ten year old I did not want to be reminded that I was just sitting at home reading a comic. I didn't want to believe that Cobra Commander cared one hoot about the opinion of anyone but himself. I wanted to be storming Ironblood's hq, picking off shadows left right and centre.
