Please, everyone. Bombard this loser with PMs.
I say we set a certain time to bombard him with £1 or €1 offers.
Ha! He has lowered his price to €39.

just a tiny, teeny bit of info, one of the proposed names for the team looks to be SWS, which could be a play on Special Weapons Service

Sounds like a cool name. Wonder if they had the SBS in the pipeline too?

When will all this culminate Dave?

While were waiting for more news, and there's still room to speculate, I'm still wondering if the 'SWS' team was replaced in the final cut by Space Force.

The thing that has always bothered me about Space Force was that, until the appearance of the Roboskull in the second half of Wave 2, they had no direct opposition. As a kid that made it hard to get them into the action.

Their role in the comic stories was limited to providing comms, plus a memorable platform for the SAS to parachute onto an island from space.

I can easily imagine there having been a bit of a discussion at Palitoy about whether to go with the land-based techno-wizards of SWS or to push the boundaries further by having a (highly technological) space-based unit. As has been noted elsewhere the colour schemes are similar.

Good thoughts, that would be the case if there was only ever SWS, but there were probably a few other teams that never made the cut.

I think it was a process of elimination until the company felt they had a well rounded set of teams to cater for all play situations.

Dave.

Why did the Shadows only have one space specialist against a whole team it doesn't seem fair?
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?
