Yeah, in my capacity as a total nerd, I imported a hardback copy of each of Richard Hatch's BSG novels into the UK as they were published. His first one came out in 1997, and in those days Amazon and such sites were in their infancy, so importing Richard's books was very difficult. The books hadn't even been given a licence in the UK! I really wish his vision had been given "the green light" for production. As successful as the remake of BSG was, names aside it had nothing to do with
Battlestar Galactica. It's not something I could sit and watch with my young nephews as I'd previously done with Classic BSG, which I loved.
As for
Return To The Batcave, one of the things I loved so much about that film was the perfection of the costumes. So accurate! It made me wish they'd revive the 1960s tv series. Surely it could be run as a totally seperate franchise from the 'realistic'
Batman seen in the wonderful Chris Nolan films? Besides...
