Thank god I'm not the only one. I can't recall ever hearing Metallica at school. For me it was Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Clapton, Hendrix.... Now I have 12 guitars, including 3 Stratocasters.
Most of the kids in my school listened to Bros, Michael Jackson, Aha, George Michael etc. I was traumatised in my youth. Thank god for AF.

ok, to be honest this was the late 80's onwards for me, im too young to really remember anything before that & a very mislead youth means my memory isnt too great even now!
