Action Force Spirit

Post by night force cynic »

Made this figure last year right after (like within a week) I got wave 7 of the 25th Anniversary figure of Mr. Iron-Knife and forgot all about the pictures until tonight. I'm thinking [hoping] you guys that grew up with Action Force will dig it.

I always really liked the color scheme and paint apps on the Action Force version of Spirit. I figured it'd be even better in 25th Anniversary syle.

CORPS head transplanted Spirit hair, fabric loincloth, as close to the UK figure paint as I could get it.

I agree - the colour scheme is brilliant and it looks well painted too!

Thanks! it's awesome to know I'm not alone in liking that color scheme for him. It blew away all of his US-release color schemes (including both the fugly color palettes the Air Commando mold were saddled with). That head was The Corps! line... I know it would eventually be good for something. :!:
