Action Man figure

I don't know if you guys in the U.K. got this or not, but Hasbro released a G.I. Joe 6 pack of 3 & 3/4 figures under the title of "Night Force" and Action Man was one of the action figures! (Flint was also included!) Did you get this cool set overseas?

there has been an extremely limited run of figures in Ireland.
Some of the first 2002 GvC figures were out but were withdrawn within a couple of months. They're now on sale with each 2-pack selling for ?2.99.

Now theres nothing new available.

It's the same thing here. They release "series of waves" of actin figures. Some stay around for two years. Some come and go overnight. It's kind of frustrating for collectors. (I'm still looking for the Evil Twins - Tomax and Xamot - and the Crimson Attack Helicopter that comes with them. Grrr.)

YoJoe.com has a great picture of the Night Force Action Man, complete with file card. This is a great site, by the way, that shows about every G.I. Joe character you can think of. It even has a section for the foreign "Joes", like Action Force.

We didn't get these released over here. It seems Hasbro doesn't care about us poor UK fans. I think my brother might have a spare Night Force set or maybe even loose action man figure. If anyone in the UK is intersted, drop me an email.

Actually, Hasbro is giving the appearance that they don't care about anyone who's a collector. Their releases of figures and vehicles is really sporadic. Sometimes there's a glut of overstocked merchandise, and at other times, one wave is realeased and gone and the only way you can track it down is to go on the internet. I have to give there marketing team a "thumbs down" for availability to the average (non-rich) consumer.

I actually have this set.
Action man is not the one we know and love, but the new one who fights Dr. X that the kids are currently buying.

It's a nice figure though.
