Stalin

Post by Malcolm Orr »

Here's a WIP commission. It needs some carving at the w/e in good light. I'm pleased with it so far

Image

5.5" scale, and here's a face sculpt of Vincent Price - needs further painting

I'm thinking the jaw is too narrow

BabyJelly,
That Stalin is absolutely amazing in 3 3/4" scale!
Nice use of the Indiana Jones Russian body too.
The Vincent Price is cool, I'm a big fan of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and he guest starred in one episode, and using that as my reference, the jaw is fine!

wow, both are really nice. Have you customised the rest of Vincent, or just a face sculpt?

Dave.

Glad you like him. Your opinion counts the most of course since he's destined for you!

Just the face, but I'll paint the coat. It's based on a David Tenant figure.

In both cases the face is cut back except for the ears and eyes, which I keep for scale and reference
