Inspired by Aire's incredible Action Man collection, I have picked up a few AM's myself.

I just love 'em! -

No, none are original, they are all 40th anniversary reissues.

If they were original, I'd have had to take out a loan from the bank!

Though I'd love to Andy, they just take up way too much room!

I plan on getting 4 more and then I'm 'completely' out of space.

[But I did say that about 6 months ago, and managed to squeeze 'em in so you never know!]

And I'm sure you recognise 2 of those pretty well eh fella!

very familiar ! The infantryman and underwater explorer look even better than the others, because of their origins.

I think it kind of brings my original vision/concept to life.

I wish I hadnt said that now ............ OMG ! Im going to have to start collecting Action Man again !!!!

action man is cool. When i see them in reminds me of my childhood so much, i had a fair few action men, some from the seventies and a few eagle eyes, my mother used to make jeans and t shirts for them, she would say 'they can't be soldiers all the time edward! I don't remember what i did with them, i probably buried them in the garden i did that sort of thing a lot as a child. We never did find my sister!

My grandmother used to knit clothes for my Action Man !

They looked rubbish but I could never tell her, I had to pretend they were Great, even though they didnt really fit very well.

The problem was .... because I "loved" them sooooo much .... she made more !

I had several "unique" outfits one of which included a rather nice yellow tea-cosy hat and matching Jacket and trousers. . .
..... fortunatly the unfortunate action man that got to wear this outfit drove my scorpion tank so nobody messed with him !
