Z Force Attack Cannon Box Dilema!

Post by LDR »

I have a serious dilema here, and i need help! Obviously this is very serious and life threatening so the quicker the help the better.

Right i have two boxed Z Force Attack Cannons (picture below). The one on the right has mint unused contents (but has been opened), the one on the left is in great condition but used with stickers stuck on.

Now heres the dilema, which box should i keep! I will keep the unused gun, but which box do you think is the nicer.

Front:
The right one has the nicer front, with no damage.
The left one has sticker marks, and a slight tear bottom left.

Image

Left:
Very similar condition, right slightly less wear.

Image

Right:
Similar condition again, tape peeling on right one.

Image

Backs:
Nice on both. Slightly better on right.

Image

Top:
Now heres the problem with the right one (top of pic), theres quite a dent in the top.
Left one (bottom of pic), not bad.

So guys, which one would you keep, bearing in mind the contents can be moved around?

Thanks!

No brainer for me - if you do ever display them you will have it facing frontwards no? Very little to choose between them, so keep the one with the best front.

You're welcome..... :-)

Don't fancy scanning the sticker sheet (with a ruler) for us, do you?

Can you not put the unused contents in the better box, and display the stickered one loose? Or did I miss a step?

If I didn't have one yet, I would keep the one on the right.

Luckily I already have one! :D

If it would have been a MIB, no problem, but the item is MISB and I would like to keep it that way.

Noticing more and more the "selling point" flashes on the boxes. This one isn't too bad "swivels and rotates" but some of the others have been really quite lazy selling points. I think it was the Shadowtrak that had "unique weapons", swordfish looks to have "rotating missiles", and Cosmic Cruiser has "fast and manouverable". Hardly going to make them fly off the shelves?

Now, I'd say they were limited for space as they needed to put two other languages in the "flash" too, but for me, those are a bit weak.

Quarrells bike was described as a "fast moving power bike" - I wonder how many kids in the 80's actually expected it to be powered in some way?

It gets more bizarre when you go to the larger cardeds and the Satellite Defence "Underwater Firepower". What? I may be missing something here but it's :space: , not :qforce:.

No wonder they stopped putting them on by later releases.

Thanks guys the right one, is the winner!

I can certainly scan the stickers in. What other stickers do you need as i have bought quite a few boxed items just lately and most are open.

If the stickers arent bagged i'll happily scan them.

Steve, funny i thought that about some of the vehicles...seems to advertise things that arent actually real, powered bike, underwater firing....not sure that would go down well with todays kids!
