thanks for the heads up, looks promising. FP london have had some 25ths for a while, but I can't get into them, and at £7.99 each it's a bit pricey.
But I may cave into getting a classic vehicle for my classic joes.

the Previews UK page reflects Play.com's selection too, but Play also has the MUGGS.

I guess once the pre- movie buzz starts , TRU and Woolies (if there alive) may stock the 25th line properly.
It's funny that the Previews US doesn't mention Europe as a whole or Australia.

I took the plunge yesterday and bought 2 figures just to have a look, The Snow Serpant and Cobra Bazooka Trooper. I got them from Forbidden Planet in Southampton at £7.99 each. The Snow Serpant is a brilliant figure loose and was one of my favourties from the new series as a kid.

I run a toy and collectables business too, and had a few left in stock from previous toy shows, so ashamedley then dug out what I had left, paid into the flaot and ripped them off the cards too :)

So now have the base of a small colelction, a slippery slope as I really don't need to start another collection ;)

Cobra Commander
Cobra Officer
Cobra Trooper
Cobra Bazooka Trooper (or something like that)
Cobra Officer Python Patrol
Cobra Viper
Cobra Snow Serpant.

Might look at ordering in a few cases now the demand will pick up for the movie.

I got all my 25th Joes from bigbadtoystore.com in the USA. They sell them by the wave so you get complete sets of each new line up. :jackal:

The Cobra Paraviper is the best one of these so far. Mine is repainted and cut up and is now Sparrowhawk, but it only looks good because the base figure is sumptuous!

I was talking to one of the staff at Newcastles FP,and he said he hoped they would be getting the sideshow joes.BUT those in charge of buying at the chain are a bit slow and tend to buy what is popular at that time.

I wanted to order the Mighty Muggs from Play.com, but they take so long to get stuff in stock! You can guarentee that items appear in the shops waaaay before Play get them. I have some of the 'Classic Cybermen' figures on pre-order, with Play listing them as being released on 30/1/09, but these figures are all over Ebay (and presumably in shops, though I can't check due to not having any toy shops locally!) right now.
Play's release dates are very hazy too: They also keep pushing imported stuff like that back all the time - Whenever the release date for my SG: ATLANTIS figure pre-orders arrives, they get pushed back another week.

Don't know if that'e their fault though... in Play's defence every book or CD / DVD I have ordered has arrived in record time.
