Ok maybe this isnt too shocking ? however I cant beleive I have just realised what that mysterious hole is on the back of the triad fighter !

It always looked to me as though there was a bit missing ..... until now !

I think I might have thought of that when I was a kid but only because I would attach anything onto anything... Anyone who remembers my idea of putting a wolverine without tracks onto the swordfish float will know that...

Well, once I got hold of a Space Engineer a few months back, I always knew that lifeline had to go somewhere! I assumed that all SF vehicles had a corresponding hole but, not owning any, never could check. At least I now know the Triad Fighter is so equipped and my theory was at least one third correct!

Yep i knew about that back when i was a kid (oops forgot i still am....ish!)
I just went to have a look at the photos i posted from my collection when i was younger as i had him next to one of the two triads but i can't tell if its attached as some don't even seem to have accessories in there hands but they are old fuzzy photos.

Shows how deceptive the memory can be; I was just about to swear blind that I used to attach Kiwi to my Cosmic Cruiser until I remembered I only bought it in the year 2000. I'm sure I used to do this, but had completely forgotten.

suppose it makes sense really, the plug fits perfectly ! I just checked the archive and it dosnt show anything on the triad blueprints. I guess us kids had to figure this one out ourselves ?
