I've no idea why this topic is in the items wanted section but here goes:

I take it the site you refer to is a joe forum. In case you never noticed this site is not, sure Joe gets discussed here from time to time but then it would as theres crossovers between the two, but then to a lesser extent there are between other lines like micronauts, star wars and not least Action Man.

My point is that if we want to go somewhere to discuss any of these we can go to their respective forums, and I'm sure fans of both Action Force and gi joe may well belong to joe forums as well as this one.

I know Bloodforthebaron's forum has become a better site for having some fans of both as we get exposed to vehicles and playsets we could of only dreamt of for the Action Force line. Likewise joe fans can come here and find specialised information on a toyline maybe not native to their country.

Only recently one of the users has made contact with one of the original designers of the toy range, this may not sound that amazing to a collector whose toy range is not only still active but have a well documented past and that the company that produced the original line is still around.

Action Force collectors do not have this luxury and I would wager be more likley to find specialised information on the range here than anywhere else in the world.

Sure there could be more contibutions but there is only so much that can be said about a 20 year old toy. Unlike Gi Joe , Action Force is a discontinued line so there are no new launch pics or updated news to discuss on a daily basis.

If your a registered user of this forum rather than be negative and offer no solution to improve the site, why not help and contribute to make this site all it can be. Get the users of your Joe forums who enjoy Action Force to come here, not the other way round.

In my experience there are few forums that are not spoilt by egos and personal arguements, I'm happy to say this is however one of the few forums to escape this.

Darksaber if you wish to continue with this please take to the discussion area where it belongs, not items wanted section

Thread moved from items wanted....

I'm not sure if I understand your point, if it is about the whole board as Plastik and Clemens have eloquently pointed out the difference between Action Force and Joe collecting is that of time and scale.

Palitoy Action Force went out of production 20 years ago, and in total the whole range totals (off the top of my head) around 100 items. A deliberate decision was made back when the site started to exclude the Hasbro Action Force range, partly as I was too old for it when it came out, and partly because it just wasn't the same.

We have posting here regularly the owner of the largest Action Force online shop, as well as owners of two of the other four large online sellers in the UK (on a less regular basis). As well as that we have some of the biggest UK collectors post here.

Part of the reason for the low rate of posts compared to a year or two back is that many of the queries that we used to have, have already been discussed. As AF is not an ongoing range new queries don't come up too often, but as pointed out Jonathon has recently made contact with one of the original designers of the range,

If your point was about the items wanted area that has gradually become less used as the ebay market for Action Force has grown. Additionally a lot of the replies to posts in the trading sections are sent by PM or email as opposed to on the open forum. Many members, also don't even look there if they have nothing to trade or swap.
It's good to be back

i couldn't agree more this site has helped rekindle my youth and helps me answer all the questions i had as a boy and to tell me where i could get all the items i couldn't afford to buy as a boy i had about twelve figures and a battered up shadow track but a rich friend had everything so i spent many a hour playing with them i spend many hours looking through all the different topics as steve said there is limits to this site capabilitys due to the range being sadly discontinued but give me these limited posable 3 3/4 figures any day as to me gi joe has gone far fetched and out of the realms of believability and id like to thank steve and all the main contributors to this site for making it so interested THANKS AND KEEP IT GOING

:inf: darthsaber i think u need to explain your origional question. are you asking if people use this site ie the one i am posting on now or this "american" site that the baron points out isn't there. quite frankly although i am new to the internet (since dec last) this site is the best i've found on any topic and the people on it the most genuine and enthusiastic, and i collect lots of stuff and have for many years and tried clubs etc before.
