Babyjelly's ACTION FORCE customs!
Hi Guys!
Firstly just to introduce myself. I've just joined and started collecting the GI Joe 25th Anniversary figures, BUT to me they are Action Force 25th figures LOL
I did collect the AF series 2 figures when I was younger - I collected Z Force and my brother SAS and we kicked the asses of the Red Shadows, then the AF figures such as Duke came to Poundstretcher and we collected those. However my real interest started when I collected the Marvel UK Action Force comics and the figures, starting with Footloose, but my favourite was Flint, and I love the early run of comics that I have been fortunate to relive through the CBR files on this site (and they are still as wonderful today - Flint and Jaye standing on the docks/ the Eel escaping from AF HQ and tackling the street thugs/ the bomb in Wardour street are all right there, panel for panel in my memory banks!)
So, in my mind I'm collecting them again - Action Force, based in the UK, headed by Flint, who's called DANIEL Faireborn and is English, with Lady Jaye, who is Irish!
I'm building up my team as we speak. I have a modern day version of Baron Ironblood, dressed in black mainly, and I'm building a AF-UK Missions room too (mostly built but needs embellishing).
I'll post my first pics tonight!!!

Hey Babyjelly, welcome to the gang!
Do please post some pics of your customs, we all love seeing new takes on these toys.
One of the things we have planned for 2009 is to expand the toy archive to include the Marvel UK era Action Force, do you happen to know much about which toys were released then?

Here's the Indiana Jones russian figure (left) which is too small, so taller boots were added from the Nazi figure...

Re: Babyjelly's ACTION FORCE customs!
The helmet is a pen top, sawn then shaped. A section down to the lower part of the eyeslot was cut out then replaced. The eyes are from a wedge of head cut and milliputted into place, with some detailing added afterward and the head filled so it's like a flat ended cylider on top (so it's not removeable). Though the logo was the hardest part to paint

That Baron Ironblood custom is amazing! Do think though, with a different head, you would have a great take on a modern Red jackal.
Nonetheless, brilliant!
