35th anniversary tonight.

Not posting the long lost reenactment by G Squadron for Frederick Forsyth and the Bee Bee Cee in 1984 or 1985 for the series Soldier: some Yanks who got hold of it have put some dip and velcro muzak over the top of the footage.

At least USAF kept the Argentine Skyhawk fleet flying to compensate for the loss, nice of the fascist shites.

And they are still flying Skyhawks too. Last AF to be doing so, I think. Best not underestimate the Douglas Hot Rod.

I think they have or are about to can the skyhawks due to financial problems

I'll see if I can find the article, they stopped something recently
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Found it, looks like they ran out of cash and are turning to the Chinese and Russians.
