Series 1 - Frogman - New Variant

Post by Hopper »

Evening all

Just when you thought it was safe...

Saw this on ebay a few months back - Series 1 Frogman, a new variant.

Behold - Type 3 (on the right of the photo)
Same as Type 2 (on the left of the photo), but has a black watch face.
I have checked, the paint on the watch is legit - it matches the other black paint, and is applied perfectly imperfect (in that it is a round transfer, aimed at a round target, but off centre of course... Palitoy style!). There are others on sale on ebay if anyone is interested.

So now we have three Frogmen:
Series 1 Frogman T1 (Scuba tank badge in shield-shaped outline)
Series 1 Frogman T2 (Plain blue scuba tank badge on chest)
Series 1 Frogman T3 (As T2, but with black watch face)

Incidentally, if anyone has a loose Type 1 (shield badge) Frogman they want to sell, let me know!

Ha! Like it!

And thanks for the confirmation, too!
I sometimes think it's just me that sees these things, or that somehow they're planted for me to find!

And everyone else thinks I'm mental.

Which I'm not.
Obviously.

I mean.
Seriously.

Not at all Tim ;)
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Have you got one, Steve?
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!
