Uzi variations

Post by action-figure-supplies »

There are 3 different colours of AF Uzis, blue, dark grey and black. Ignoring the blue ones, is there a definitive list of which figures came with the grey or black one? I know Stalker came with the dark grey uzi as it matches his hand bag but which one did Steeler and the Baron come with?
Also was the Baron's Han Solo blaster the blue one, not the black one?

Baron (Type 1 black hand) definitely came with a black uzi.
Other Barons may have come with grey versions, but only careful looking on moc figures would help... hang on *rummages in photo pile!

My understanding is Palitoy figures got black and Hasbro got grey.

Hmm to me they were the same shade But im open to the possibility that someone might tell me they are slightly different shades of dark grey.

They may well be different shades... I'm not sure Palitoy quality control was that bothered with plastic colour!

I've noticed different types of plastic used in the Uzi's produced by Palitoy & Hasbro. I guess, like anything, factors such as different production lines, material suppliers or even age & storage conditions would come into play.

Not trying to get Hopper all over excited, but, I've notice minor moulding variants amongst the Uzi's.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

This end of the world we had GI Joe, not AF. The Joe plastic is noticibly grey and all the palitoy guns I have from the same mold are black. Look at the Black Major AK47, for example.

I'm sure the UK was different and the Hasbro stuff was black and the Palitoy stuff was dark grey but I guess we'll never know for sure.
