So, I tweaked my Nunchuk a little bit more to make him more true to the vintage. Then I thought, I've actually never done this before so I pulled out all my Joe Ninja and Martial Artists to take some pics. I have SDCC Jinx, but never opened her though. The only original Ninja Force I'm missing is Dojo, but he's too hard to make and would require too much painting so I guess until the right combo of parts come out with minimal painting, then I'll be without Dojo. Some of these were older customs that I haven't even looked at in a while as they were in storage until I decided to pull them out to display with Nunchuk.
Here's the Ninja group shot:
Martial Artists group shot:
Individual pics: (I didn't do individual shots for T'Jbang cause he's the only one I did no mods at all to but is the one I hate the most cause his backpack never stays on)
Nunchuk:
I realized that he didn't actually have a sash on the vintage one, but a pistol holster instead so I modified one on. The vest is the Retaliation Storm Shadow one but with the Arashikage logo removed and the head scarf is from a Night Creeper.
Storm Shadow
Added removable throwing stars and a smoke grenade to him and painted some of the white dots on the black areas to be closer to the vintage one.
T'Gin-Zu
All I did was re-accessories a DG Wave 2 Storm Shadow
Snake Eyes
Gave him the POC alternate head and modified a vintage backpack to fit
Kamakura
Changed his head and different accessories. Modified backpack so it is attached to his gear. (I had dog tags on him before but dont' know what happened to them)
Budo
Used a Ronin head modified to fit the helmet. Modified vintage backpack. Cut off some of the armor pieces and painted belt. Modified sheath for his belt, used Arctic Snake Eyes legs.
Quick Kick:
Used the 25th gear on the POC body. Relocated peg on 25th backpack so it doesn't sit so high and added a Dusty or Marauder Falcon webgear so it doesn't look like his backpack is attached to his bare skin.
