Treasure Trove!!!
Re: Treasure Trove!!!
It was Hopper! And the green pocketed commando! So all variants. And like you say - someone obviously thinks "ahhh - balls to that - don't bother painting them pockets, and forget them helmet logos..."

Re: Treasure Trove!!!
It'd be nice to confirm that the early issue :marine:s had a printed cap badge.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

I'm absolutely convinced, but evidence is always nice!
And, although it doesn't exist, I'm still holding out hope for a 2Para with printed cap badge. That would be sweet!

Wish I had got the AF 9 set too...............
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
Re: Treasure Trove!!!
Ok I won the NIght Patrol, not realising the variants on the other figures in the lot.
So here are some photos.
German Soldier:
Nice painted (or decal) shields.
One other thing thats interesting is the medal number on the back. This original says '9', and then silver over the top with '8' on it. So looks like this figure was going to be 9 (which is the Mission Pilots number on production figures). Looks to me like the '8' is written in fineline pen.

Well there is a fly in the ointment.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!
Re: Treasure Trove!!!
Steve and I discussed this, they were all first release versions.
