Did the Captain America shileds come from ebay?
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Out of curiosity are you concerned that the cards or boxes in direct light will get sun bleached?

No

The sun is never shining directly into the house due to the house position, it was one of the reasons that room was chosen, the sun will directly hit the side of the house and across, nothing has ever faded.
