Yeah, it's bizarre!
You have a real rarity there!
I'm just going to double check all of mine

Probably copyright. There are so many sources of black detonator it'll take a bit to work out. Off the top of my head, Boat Patrol, Battle gear, Sparrowhawk and Quickfire. It could be German.Hopper wrote:Thundershot wrote:Hi
I think G.M.P.G stands for General Mills Products Group, the parent company who owned both Palitoy & Kenner toys @ the time.
Right. That makes sense... but what is CPGPC then, I wonder?
Like Ed, all mine are raised bar regardless of colour.

The Baron has a Q Force deep sea defender MOC pictured in the toy guide that has unpainted straps, only one I've seen.

Another one for Hopper,
I've been sorting out my collection today & wondered if you've spotted these Ammo box variants before :
The copyright stamp, on box B, is completely different. A less noticeable difference is the letter A on the front of the case.
Once again I've no clue as to the origins or rarity of both variants, all I know is that I've got far more of type A than of type B.

Damn! It's funny, but I checked the backs of a few of mine, thinking that this might be a possibility. Alas, found nothing.
You sure you're not just manufacturing these to drive me insane?

I wonder why the copyright is different & what the letters C.P.G.P.C. stand for?
