Have you seen Hamill's "Comic Book the Movie" film? It's a great DVD, all about a teacher/comic geek (Hamill) whose trying to get Hollywood to make a SuperHero movie set in the 40's style rather than the blood'n'gore modern style the studio wants.

Loads of cameos (including Prowe, Mayhew and Bulloch together), best cameo of all is the great Ray Harryhausen, while every one else at the convention (where most of the film is shot) is pointing at the in-character Hamill, Harryhausen seems to have no idea he's being questioned by Luke Skywalker. priceless.

Sadly only a region 1 DVD but well worth getting, Billy Zane (he does most of the voices on Futurama) is also really great in it, as are many actors who we normally don't see but hear as voice actors on cartoons (the guy who voice Sponge Bob plays Hamill's sidekick and fellow geek).

I've only heard of it, but due to its lack of availability in the UK, I've not seen it. But it does sound funny!

I thought he was brilliant in Slipstream, and his Trickster in Flash: II apparently landed him the role of The Joker in Batman. Plus he's done voices for The Incredible Hulk, The Simpsons, and he's voiced several documentaries, too.


He was also in the remake of Children of the Damned, but no one likes to see his childhood hereos getting mangled one by one. Yuck! And The Guyver (AKA Mutronics, The Movie) was just f.u.b.a.r... though he was yet again very good in it.


His RibMan online comic (many years ago!) was cool, and he was in one of the Wing Commander videogames, too.

Yeah Hamill was great as the Trickster in the sadly short lived Flash tv series (killed by the Simpsons in the tv ratings war).

And as has been mentioned his part as Cock Knocker in Jay and Silent Bob just goes to show he's not ashamed of his Star Wars past (Carrie Fisher was also in the same movie as a nun who Jay attempts to give a blow job to). Love the part when Hamill gets his hand cut off, looks directly into the camera and says "Not again!" oh and the part where he goes "Don't f*ck with the Jedi Master!"

Not cheap but it is a 2 disc'er, and the extended interviews with Hugh Hefner, Bruce Campbell and Kevin Smith are real good, plus Hamill's humour thru'out is wonderful. Also if you're a real comic book geek you'll love Stan Lee getting into the spirit of it all. And even Marr Goering makes a cameo for any Simpsons/Futurama fans.

As for C*ck Kn*cker, I love the part where Jay foolishly asks him how he got his name... Its not the punch which is funny, (that part looks quite painful!), its Hamill's deadpan delivery that has me in stitches!
