I purchased this 1978 vintage Britains Paratrooper from a charity shop during my lunch break on Friday:


I find these Super Detail toy soldiers fascinating as no paint (apart from the base) is involved in their manufacture, it's all done by different colour plastics & a special layered moulding technique.
The coolest aspect of this unique moulding process is the fact that no two figures ever share an 100% identical camouflage pattern:

It's a shame Palitoy didn't employ this kind of mixed plastic effect, instead of paint applications, for
I can only imagine how good
