Yeah, I've never known the story with the second Hyena box. The picture box Boat Patrol I have only ever seen once (the pictures in the archive were courtesy of the ebay seller). It was one of those "must be out there" items like the Cosmic Cruiser picture box. By all logic there ought to exist a window-box Swordfish too but I've never seen one. Similarly, the 1985 AF Command Centres are all Z Force edition overstock, I don't think the advertised version with Gung-Ho and Stalker was ever released.

The picture box boat patrol I've seen another but I shall not say to much as it is owned by one of our own, the variant Hyena box I'm not really that worried about or am I the cosmic cruiser to be honest they are things that I believe beyond my grasp so I wouldn't want to beat myself up over them.

There was no window boxed swordfish. It came dismantled, so it was never done as window boxed. Interestingly the German one was in a smaller box - the same size as the triad fighter and the like.

And re picture box boat patrol, you've seen it twice Baron, not once.

If you do insist might I suggest some cases from GW acrylics first to protect the rare items.....

Thanks to the BFTB easy to use "Toys" section I now know what Boat patrol is! (Actually I have one in the loft).

I use to have a magazine with a photo of a boat patrol in, unfortunately the pages somehow got stuck together
