I remember that advert, never really thought much about the art work not matching the figures when I was a lad.
Indeed Herr463! But am blasting over the pond before midday tomorrow so will be even further away when the real-time action really kicks off ...

Tho' hopefully Hopps will join you and Chops in the echo chamber. Looking forward to catching up on Sunday or Monday. And TKW too, alas, seems he won't make it to RORC either.

Funnily enough, only saw the advert for the first time before the great Forum crash. Think it was posted on the earlier version of this thread.

Was intrigued that Campion and Ewins would be fed the same marketing fodder ... and it would be recycled regardless. All ties in with :space: and :qforce: being released a bit later than planned. Vielleicht.

No wonder :sas: :enemy: :zforce: were still taking names and kicking arsch well into Spring 84...

Yup
No RORC for me - hellacious few weeks and no cash = stay at home Hopper

I would love to fully understand the birth and early days of AF - I mean, down to the fine details.

And love the protoypes - when I finally get some time, I'm going to make all the 'potential' figures and vehicles. Actually, who am I kidding, I may carve a mean wooden spoon, but am a cack-handed fool at this sort of thing. I shall commission them from someone much more talented!

Yes, let those other f*ckers deal with their hangovers. Serves em right.

Note, the Wife and I were celebrating our 17th Anniversary, sans children last night, we went out for Indian and partied on the the dulcet tones of the Bee Gees' and Kid Rock to the wee wee hours. Not feeling so great myself.

I prefer to think of us as the rear guard!

Happy Anniversary Mark!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Cheers buddy, Nearly bed time. Yawn, I'm not 30 any more.

I guess we'll have to keep the forum warm till the lads sober up.

If that's the case, we could be here some time!
I am going to go next year, though - oh yeah, definitely

And happy anniversary Chops.
