Brilliant stuff, great find.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Those stunts are mental!

Mattel have a bit of a history for these real car promotional stuff, back in the 60's, they sponsored a couple of dragster drivers & made toy versions of their cars.



For their 30th anniversary a full sized version of the Twin Mill, one of there more wilder toy designs, was commissioned :


& yep, those are both real big block Chevrolet engines powering the beast.
