Genius analogy - I can totally understand that sentiment dude. The biggest/only complaint I get from my missus (as luckily she is a rare breed of aussie - attractive, geeky and 'borderline' accepting of pommie ways) erm, yeah the only grief I get is also that I'm into too many things....umm, we're still talking collecting here ok?!

So yup, might well have to scale things down in future, but AF is waaaay down that list, believe me. The large and prized autographs, top trumps and trading card collections will get culled long before I agree to lose any of these little dudes again: :shadow: :quick: :nobokov: :skeletron: and even :kraken: !

Thanks for the sound advice! My other stuff is a large collection of 1/48 scale model kits still to be built, minature medals and lead soldiers as well as AF! Plus a large DVD collection (with alot of SCi Fi B5, Battlestar Galactica etc!!).
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Love Star Wars [well the original 3 anyway] to death, but Spock just doesn't hold a candle to Boba Fett imo...

Still, to each their own, I guess...

been feeling a bit down lately, changed hours in my job from working nights to 9-5, then told that as i was now day staff i couldnt do overtime and dropped £2-300 a month so things lately have been a bit tight which has really affected my comic an toy hobbies. i can only really buy things at the end of the month if i have a few pennies left. got home from work tonight and my favourite pizza was waiting for me then told i had a prezzie-an sdcc exclusive cobra commander. she heard me talking to a mate about how much i wanted one but couldnt afford it. she knows nothing about toys but spent hours on ebay searching for it.

i'm a lucky guy

my wife thinks i hold similar qualities to the 40 year old virgin

ive got four kids so thats the virgin bit taken care of so it must be the amount of mib moc stuff i have and how my voice goes up several decibles when someone touches them but besides that she isnt bothered about my severity of collecting :AFLogo: saying that she has never seen the whole collection on display
