Baron Von Tree found the sketches of jazzy futurist ATV/APC and uploaded last year.
Can anyone re-up?

It's Christmas. Post the pictures and share the joy of wave 4 with those less fortunate than you.
Go on. You know you want to. Really. Deep down, on the inside.

So it does indeed seem the sketch is from the 'Action Man: The Official Dossier'
Does anyone have a copy of that book? And is it only of interest to VAM fans?

Yeah, I've got a copy, it's required reading for anyone who's interested in the story of Action-Man but it only tells the story up to General Mills pulling the plug (by fax) on A.M & telling the design team to focus on ..after that there's a big jump to the Hasbro re-launch of the 90's.

Thanks T'shot, good to know.
Does it have any more sketches in it or is that the only one?

Yep that's the only original design sketch...but there is a picture of Mr Bechins (left) hand pictured alongside the '4 Up' sculpt that he produced for the gripping hands production tooling.
One interesting page is the page of concept drawings produced by Frank Langford for 1997's Action Man sculpted head, he'd illustrated many strips during the 60-70's including The Sun's Jack & Jill aswell as the poster for 70's big screen version of ''The Sweeney'.
