In any case, figures like Ground Assault, Commander and Deep Sea Diver were also scaled versions of Action Man, or am I wrong?

Arctic Assault
Commander
Deep Sea Diver
Frogman
Ground Assault
Helicopter Pilot
Mission Pilot
Mountain and Arctic

Were all VAM.

Only Naval Assault and Night Patrol were never VAM.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

I have often thought it may be useful, for those unfamilier to the range, to have some kind of thumbnail image of the toy next to the figures name. Most people may not know what the toys name is but could instantly identify a picture.

Would it be possible to have a scan of a cardback (or catalogue page), for each year, & when you click on the item you're looking for..say for instance :skip: ... it takes you to the relevent pages?
I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you mean the group shot images? Aligning links to an image grid is a major PITA. We do have this: http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/toys/chrono/index.html

As for thumbnails, maybe. I really want to use the forum smilies, but we only have them as far as 1987.

ANd where do you stop? Arguably the Arctic Assault, DSD and Frogman (to pick but a few examples) were still Action Man in miniature???
