RED SHADOW - Artwork and Sketches (updated 13.02.10)

Red Shadow-tastic....

Okay guys. At the request of The Baron, I've rounded up my first batch of my Action Force related original artist sketches and paintings, scanned them, resized and uploaded for your viewing pleasure. All these are original art and a mix of oils on canvas, inks, pastels, paints, pencils and trusty markers - and are usually to be seen proudly displayed in a series of frames on the walls of our 'geek room' at home.

Admittedly, I've still got a fair few more Red Shadows on the walls to scan and upload, but these examples should keep you busy for now......

I'm sure you'll all agree that there's some talented artists out there and I've got a lot of buddies gifted with the brush or pen or pencil. Sadly, my efforts are kinda pap so I've gotta make do with the skills of others! I've also got loads of Baroness that I could get down and scan if people want to see those, along with Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes and a few others.

Plus don't worry, there is even some retro old skool Baron Ironblood artwork just for the AF purists.


Thanks for looking and I'll get the next batch of either Shadows or one of the other characters up sometime soon.

Oh wow - there's some superb stuff there! That's fantastic!

Cheers for the comments guys - I'm stoked you like the first examples from my collection. One thing though.....

As much as I'd love to take credit for all these - they are simply pieces of original artwork I've received from a number of artist friends, colleagues or traded for over the last few years. In other words, they have been created by lots of lovely people around the world. And not me, at least none of these. I can do some kind of art sure, but nothing like this.... my creativity is in merely digital/strategy/marketing/advertising kinda ways I'm afraid!


There's no way my efforts could compete and the only glory I can possibly take from these, is that I actually own them and have encouraged each artist (through praise, cash or both) to do some great things for me to display at home.

I hpe that clears it up - I'd hate to get credit for other people's work. Anyhow, I'll get some more of my collection up soon, seeing as y'all asked so nicely.
