That makes me fell a bit better :)
So sealed Strikers had green parachutes? Must be a variant then.
I thought I had a wierd obsession with 12, but over 20!

jamarmiller WHO ARE YOU!!!

Clearly the Master!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Yes, I guess that is definitely true... LOL :-)
But I guess I kind of have to be in order to get the book done...

It is a S L O OOO O W process.... finding information, gathering figures and vehicles to photograph, and trying to keep track of everything... and puting it all together in a way that (hopefully) will be both informative and enjoyable to readers...

About the many vehicles I have.... When I started this process, I was mainly going to concentrate on worldwide figures and US vehicles and UK vehicles....

But, as I encountered long lapses of time where I could not find any of the figures I still needed, I decided to use that time to do something else: explore international vehicles

Of course, now I am in the same position with vehicles that I was with figures.... I am trying to find those last few that just don't seem to show up for sale....

Case in point: I have yet to find an Action Force Night Raven.... or a Star Brigade Armor Bot made for the UK/Spain/Italy markets

If anyone has either of these vehicles for sale, please let me know.

Thanks so much to everone for your kind comments above!
Take care,
Aire

hmmmmm...... not a bad idea lol :-) But instead of a raid, how about like an old fashioned barn raising party?

I have often day-dreamed that several collectors would come over and spend the afternoon/evening helping me with a whole host of stuff toward completing the book (building dioramas, applying decals, arming figures to be photographed [that takes SO long] etc)

I acutally invited a few people here in the states, but alas, no takers....

But a contingent from the Bloodforthebaron SAS force, that would be awesome indeed :-) :-)

I guess this sounds a bit crazy but I'd be up for this!

I'd love to do it. I'm sure I could persuade my lovely better half into having a holiday in Texas! [is it Dallas?]

I just need a fair bit of time to plan it, like half a year or so. And it would have to be in school holidays as I'm a teacher.

If ever you give this any serious thought Aire, please lmk....
