I`ve got one going up on ebay tonight, not a sealed card, just the figure ,accessories and backing card .
He`s missing one land-mine though.
Got to pay for some big bills so he has to go now :(

Carded ones have cropped up on ebay from time to time, so don't give up on them. I'm not sure why they're so rare, it's always worth checking the bulk lot auctions for figs and accessories.

I'm pretty sure that the minesweeper just wasn't produced in very large quantities. He's the only figure that I never had as a kid and I don't ever recall even seeing him in a shop. There's no obvious reason for this of course, but it just seems to have had less produced. Nearly all the regular figures are available moc quite easily, but I've yet to actually see this little fella carded myself.

Jonathan Bow [newswseller on here] said he had a moc for sale a month or two back. Don't know if he has shifted it yet, it might be worth pm-ing him to ask but the price will obviously be quite steep.

I heard of one that went for £200 carded, I think that was Newswseller though.
I`ve only seen one carded Night Patrol on Ebay too, and that went for just under £100 !
Another rarity in itself.

£200 quid is a bit ridiculous! I guess people will pay if they want it bad enough.

I was thinking about the lack of carded Minesweeper's a few months back....

Before collecting action force I spent a few years collecting star wars. Now there are a ton of unreleased prototypes in the star wars toy range. Once I had all the released toys, I wanted custom copies of the unreleased stuff. Over many months I managed to aquire a full set of 6 never released ewok figures:

Image

Once I had them, I got someone to make repro cardbacks, a different guy to make repro coins and then I got some bubbles, used a special cleaning substance to remove the old glue & paper from them and then re-carded all the unreleased ewoks. It took hundreds of emails and loads of time but in the end I ended up with the photo above of six never released figures that look near-perfect.

Whats the action Force point? Well, I thought about getting the same people to make a couple Of Minesweeper cardbacks, get a few uncrushed bubbles cleaned up and re-card a few minesweepers. Because its fairly expensive [maybe £30 to £40] I'd need a couple of others to chip in with me so I could save a little in bulk-buying.

Basically, if you have a complete Minesweeper and want it recarded [and don't mind forking out a fair sum] we could get it done.

If anyone's interested, lmk....

If not, no worries, it can wait till another day.
