Loft Clearance begins..

Post by Thundershot »

Hi all,
Finally finished moving the contents of the loft into the garage, which now resembles the last scene for Raiders Of The Lost Ark, in preporation for the dreaded gas man's visit on Thursday :-D

It wouldn't of taken half as long to complete this Herculean task if I hadn't of keep stopping to 'examine' ( :. well, to be honest, play with) the contents of each box thoroughly. But it's worth all the effort, to just be reunited with this lot..

Amongst the many Star Wars backing cards these pieces of personal history turned up, the ones for the 1st ever (Luke) & possibly (as not 100% certain) the last figures that I purchased 'new' from toy shops way in back in the 80's

Wow! cracking Collection Eddie
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

I remember I used to have a programmable Bob from The Black Hole (I think that's his name), like Big Trak, with a little sensor in his chest and a keypad on his head for entering commands. I think it may have been sold by Tandy/Grandstand over here.

Nice lot, T'shot. I got my sons Star Wars gear out last night as a mate was staying over. Today is Star Wars on the floor in the play room day. ;-)

Inspired.

These type of items are the coolest, simply because they contain real memories! Love the StarWars collection.

Thanks Jaye, mint & box is all well & good but after the 'wow factors' gone it's the tatty stuff like this with sentimental value that I think a lot of us really treasure..every time I look @ that Luke Skywalker card (& the figure) it brings back lots of happy memories,

Sounds like a great laugh Mark, I bet the poor kid didn't even get a look in did he? ;-)
