Not really a variant more of manufacturing inconsistency
I just noticed that the bubble on my Q Force Sonar Officer was almost completely off so thought I may as well pop the figure out and noticed that while his left hand is a very pale red his right hand is a very deep red and amazingly the paint still feels very tacky! Probably just an uneven paint app rather than a true variant, but I still find this sort of thing interesting. Gives each figure 'character'
. Or as they used to say in the old days 'don't worry, Sir - it's supposed to do that.'

Sorry to say but if its tacky, It means the plastic is degrading. Wash the tacky parts with a mild dish soap and dry them. It should slow the plastic down but theres no way to stop it once its started.
