I would have to agree on the linear part to a point, but anything after that is all over the place. In turn I guess it became like Joe then

That takes me back to how they explained the HAWK becoming the FANGThundershot wrote:How does every body else explain the use of G.I.Joe vehicles (like the tanks & Panther jeep) being used byChopper wrote:Palitoy had a pretty linear AF/AM history. Joe's are different.?
I've always thought of(
![]()
etc) as being a separate European based & funded rapid reaction force like organisation, who use modified & re-named, licensed built/ export versions of Joe vehicles & other equipment.
Because of the use of Quarrel and some others in DDP's last story BAF to a degree was amalgamated into DDP's continuity as were Argen 7 and some cartoon elements.Sundance wrote:it's just easier to think of BAF, MAF, Joes and the toons as the seperate entities they all are and not try mixing and matching to fit them all together to me.
and no, i don't count DDP's comics on account of neer having read them.
you have to count MAF as seperate to the US Joe comics because events happen in a different order and sometimes for different reasons in the UK comics with them being re-written and printed out of order and the extra UK stories.
if you want to really mangle your noodle, try putting together a joint continuity where AF were involved in the plots of the MAF comics in place of the Joe characters!
