Recarded Series three figures

Post by Gazmondo »

Hi, thought i'd show off my latest project. I've recarded a few of my action force figures on new cardbacks which I made in photoshop. They are all accurate to the original and i've used plastic bubbles which i've seen on some original figures, i.e. the single box as oppossed to the three box ones.
I've also done the backs which you can't see from the pics.

here's a link.

enjoy.

these look really really good, good job! alot of people are doing the regular GI JOE cards and selling them as reproductions perhaps you should open up a little business doing these?

Great work Gazmondo!

The originals of these are always battered and bruised as the bubbles are so weak.

These look better in my opinion that the real thing. Really well done!

Do the whole lot, they'll look fabulous.

Just noticed now, you`ve even got the "age 4 and up" in the top right corners
Real attention to detail, I really have to get this Photoshop thingy.

Cool work!

You do everything in Photoshop, or do you use Illustrator and InDesign as well?

Thanks for all the great feedback guys, it's really appreciated. I plan on doing all the cardbacks
for series 1 - 3 and then maybe work on a few customs. I've already done a zartan and just
need to print it.
I'd do a skeletron but I'll need a bit of info to put in the character bio on the front of the card,
also, i'll need to get my hands on a figure.
To answer the last question, all the work is done in photoshop cs2.
I'll post more as and when they are done,

thanks,
gaz
