Why I Love Action Force (as a Yank) :)

Hi all! Haven't posted in forever. Just thought I'd write in with what makes me obsess about Action Force.
1. My obsession with all things British. I've always loved that "stiff upper lip" courteous sort of military discipline. Even in the Action Force comics, that professionalism and dry sense of humor comes through.
2. I love that, for the most part, Palitoy makes this military unit LOOK like they belong together! It's such fun to see an SAS force or Z-Force infantry together in matching camo. In dio-photos they look phenomenal.
3. I like the American Joe cartoon, and the American Joe comics. But the Action Force comics are just ANOTHER WORLD! Tales crossed between James Bond and old WWII movies-deadly terrorists around every corner, and the good guys with massive amounts of hardware, ready to run off to adventure at any moment, anywhere in the world! They just seem more like a military outfit than the Joes did.
4. Ruthless villains! They're always killing someone or doing honest-to-goodness dastardly deeds! Very satisfying. Also, noting the number of German similarities and a Japanese villain, it always seemed the writers had their heads in old WWII movies. Very nice!
5. Generic characters in a massive military! How much more fun it would have been to have Cobra kill off a few faceless Joes in my childhood playtime-Action Force provides you no-name Grunts in spades! Ahh, it's like 82-83 for American Joes was spread out for more time across the pond.
Anyhow, thats what I, as an American, love about Action Force! Comments welcomed.
